theStart, one of the culture of me's favorite bands before this here interwebby site was even a twinkle in a younger that dude jeff's eyes, is finally back out in the scene, issuing a new record, their first since 2004's not-so-amazingly received Initiation.

I can't tell you how many spins their first (and major label debut mind you) record, 2001's Shakedown! got on the many destroyed CD decks while that dude jeff attended his junior and senior years at that midwestern college in Peoria, Illinois.  Just google it already.  I'm not giving my whole life away at this point.

Aimee and her gang are back now, with their long-anticipated (at least from this writer's point of view) third full length, entitled Ciao, Baby.  You can also stream their first single off the new effort, "Wartime (It's Time 2 Go Now)", on their MySpace page right at this very moment.

Did I mention they're wrapping up a tour at this point?  Here are the remaining dates:

May 10 2007 - Station 4 St. Paul, Michigan
May 11 2007 - The Eagles Club Milwaukee, Wisconsin
May 12 2007 - Knickerbockers Lincoln, Nebraska
May 13 2007 - Gothic Theater Denver, Colorado
May 15 2007 - The Venue Salt Lake City, Utah
May 17 2007 - El Corazon Seattle, Washington
May 18 2007 - Sugar Victoria, British Columbia
May 19 2007 - The Plaza Vancouver, British Columbia
Jun 1 2007 - The Vibe Riverside, California
Jun 9 2007 - LA PRIDE fest LA ,CA
