Tours: Jim Fairchild (All Smiles) solo with David Bazan

Oct 25, 07

(credit)

Jim Fairchild aka that guy who used to strum in Grandaddy and is now in All Smiles and one of our favorite "Emerging" artists is hitching his lo fi indie rock vehicle for a trip on the road.  For the next few weeks, Fairchild will be playing all kinds of intimate dates, using material from his much-loved LP, Ten Readings of A Warning.  He's being joined by another solo lo fi genius, David Bazan aka that guy from Pedro the Lion.  Should make for interesting "so I was tuning my guitar recently..." stories and on-stage banter.  We think.
