News: Doherty to the rescue of Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil's good names

We couldn't think of a way we could have spun these two webs together better. Even making this up in our own heads doesn't really make sense. Pete Doherty, bastion of the needle exchange and ex-bedmate with Kate Moss coming to have Amy Winehouse's back? Really, dude? You want to play that part now? Um, you asked for this, then. According to a recent interview with the UK Sun, Doherty apparently had this to say about the beehived one:
"I speak to Amy almost every day. She just wants her man back from Christmas. They are desperately in love," he said."One good thing is that Blake (Fielder-Civil) has got clean since he had been in prison."
Too bad we can't say anything of the like for Mr. Doherty's condition. That dude needs to disappear for a while to recollect who he is and who he wants to be. Either that, or he'll die. Whichever way, we're sure to cover it.
