News: Kim & Kelley Deal (The Breeders) to play together at Chicago benefit

Nov 15, 07

Holy fucking shit.  I'm not going to lie.  I fucking love love love Pod.  Can you all chip in and send a brother to the windy city?  Hugs all around if you do!  Come on, readers.  Chip in!

Okay okay okay.  According to NME.com and my own clicking around the Second City website, we came across this proof:

The Blisters and Bitter Tears have been added to the line-up of special guests performing at "The Second City That Never Sleeps: Letters to Santa Benefit" beginning at 7:00pm on Tuesday, December 3 and ending at 7:00pm on Wednesday, December 4 in The Second City e.t.c. Theatre (1608 N. Wells St, 2nd Floor of Piper's Alley).

Sally Timms & Jon Langford, Jeff Tweedy, Will Oldham (Bonnie Price Billy), Robbie Fulks, Steve Albini, and Kim and Kelley Deal have also been confirmed. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the door.

Dude!  Robbie Fulks, Will Oldham, Steve Albini AND The Breeders?  For ten bucks?  Get on it, friends in Chicago!  P.S., they're also working on new material with Albini on the knobs, hopefully returning to form following the last five years since Title TK.
