Video: Streetlight Manifesto prove there is something going on with punk/ska bands and animated seafaring videos with "We Will Fall Together"

Somewhere, a vibrant seventeen year old me is crying out for answers. Way back almost a decade ago, you couldn't have a conversation with the culture of me without some kind of toss to punk/ska and how cool the third wave was. Seriously. I'm not above admitting that. Promise. But here's the thing: it's been ten years and yet, for some, the flame is still burning. Less Than Jake is still around. Reel Big Fish recently showed signs of still kicking. The list goes on--we think.
Anyways, Streetlight Manifesto grew out of that punk/ska scene in New Jersey. Hell, we even remember skanking our shit at a show of its previous incarnation, One Cool Guy, at the Ramapo College of New Jersey as well as love love loving the other band still to become SM, Catch-22 and their LP, Keasbey Nights. Ah, to be young.
Well they're back with the first single and video from their just-released record, Somewhere in the Between. And we couldn't help but be reminded of another punk/ska group that just recently released a record, single and video: Voodoo Glow Skulls. See if you can decipher how this could've happened. Oh yeah, and obviously who you think does the whole pirate thing best.
