El Jezel write Christmas songs; play live tomorrow with other awesome bands for 826NYC benefit
Dec 04, 07

El Jezel, lovers of all things shoegazy and unbelievably fucking beautiful (it's also worth mentioning that they're one of the most impressive things our ears have found in all of New York City this year) have contributed a song to the compilation disc culled by Family Records called "Working on Christmas". You can hear it on their MySpace page. The track was recorded to be included in the compilation alongside other awesome bands playing other awesome songs, including Benjamin Wagner playing "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)", Kailin Garrity playing "Silent Night", Wakey!Wakey! and "LGA (live)" and an ensemble recording of "Do They Know It's Christmas?" which totally destroys.
