News: EMI to release Radiohead "greatest hits"?

Feb 11, 08

And really, why shouldn't they?  This would be a tremendous blow to the boys in the band, especially since Thom's been lambasting the label ever since a peep was heard about In Rainbows.  Before, even.  NME has the skinny:

It is believed the collection could be issued to coincide with the band’s summer tour.

This would not be the first time EMI have released Radiohead material since the band parted ways with the label - in 2007 EMI issued a box set that spanned all six albums the band recorded for them.

Guitarist Ed O’Brien told the Canadian programme Radio Show: "They’re planning to do a Greatest Hits for April/May to coincide with our tour. That’s an interesting one. We won’t be doing any promotion for that, obviously."

Leave your thoughts on what the track list will look like in the comments, yes?
