This is where we're supposed to tell you how amazing The Antlers are, even though it's just one dude and how knowing that makes The Antlers even awesome-er, right? Well, kind of.
We're totally okay telling you about how listening to anything that Peter Silberman has put together is like being stuck right in the middle of Alice's rabbit hole, unsure of where you'll end up, or even if you'll get there at all. It's hard to get through the music. It's not "hard" in the traditional this-is-too-complex kind of way. Rather, it's more of a sense that you're somewhere you shouldn't be, half-voyeuristic (and liking it) and half-guilty conscience for maybe being a witness to something you didn't want to be a part of.
The Antlers play a few shows at SXSW, then it's back to New York City for a residency at Club Midway.
