News: Biggie biopic finds its star hustler

Jamal Woolard. Get to know that name if you haven't heard it before because, as of today, he'll be starring in the long-awaited (and heavily contested) biopic of the late Christopher Wallace aka Notorious B.I.G., "Notorious". "Antwone Fisher" star Derek Luke will play Puffy and will more than likely appear in every scene, much like the man he's playing.
Woolard is not an unknown and has released a number of records, but it is probably more well known that he was a victim of a shooting outside of the Hot 97 radio studios in New York City a few years back.
Biggie's mother, Voletta Wallace said of the new casting, ""Jamal's charming personality, warm spirit, wonderful sense of humor and beautiful smile. He is a talented and charismatic actor, and I am excited that he will bring Christopher's character to life."
