When we were out last night, one of the DJs played this track from Le le, a French ghetto-as-fuck trio we hadn't heard before. We were told by VDRK that the track is nasty like whoa and we couldn't agree more (seriously, we've been behind on a lot of really righteous tracks that have come out in the past few months, so, sorry, whatever).
Songs about bitches and food are hilarious. Degrading for sure, but hilarious all the same. The video is both of those things and really makes us wonder whether the visual artist (and bandmember) Pièt Par'a could give Ed Banger's go-to-guy So Me a run for his money.
UPDATE: According to one of our readers from the Netherlands (thanks Bas!), "About Le Le, they're not from France. Not even a teensy tiny bit. They're from
Holland and the lyrics are just mock-French interspersed with some
Dutch. 'Le Le' when pronounced in French is the Dutch word for 'dicks'
so even their name has to be a joke. Singer P. Fabergé is famous for
being part of hip hop-crew De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig".
