mp-FREE: Now, Now Every Children - "Everyone You Know"
May 20, 08

Minneapolis not-really-emo crew Now, Now Every Children (who are sort of too cute for words and are signed to Minneapolis Fucking Rocks's label Afternoon Records) are the sort of group that makes the culture of me die to remember that band in high school that everyone knew. That set of friends who seem to have known each other forever but were inclusive enough to be friends with everyone. It's like when you watch "Empire Records" for the thousandth time.
Anyway, back to the real point, which is that the gang have put out two beautiful EPs in the first half of this year and have developed quite a following in their native state, amassing more than 3,000 friends on MySpace and close to 60,000 track plays. Well, add another one from our speakers. "Everyone You Know" is a constantly building track, and the "oh oh oh"'s and chimes at the last third of the song are so sweet and powerful that we were floored. These guys are ones to watch, we guarantee.
