mp-FREE: Bjorn Kleinhenz's friends do covers to honor new record

Sep 03, 08

We put Bjorn Kleinhenz in our "emerging" category a while ago due to his catchy "I'm-so-Swedish-and-cutesy" songwriting skills.  We just got word today that October 29 sees the release of Kleinhenz's Quietly Happy and Deep Inside LP via You Are Awesome!. We couldn't be happier for this kid (okay, he's our age, whatever) and neither could the label and to celebrate, Kleinhenz asked a number of his friends to submit cover versions of the songs that will appear on the new record.  They'll be releasing two new covers each Wednesdy until the album's release date.  Here are the first two: Kid Ikarus covering "Princes" and Unikornus doing a version of "At Night We Die".  Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for the rest of the covers and be sure to pick up Quietly Happy and Deep Inside when it drops.
