Emerging: French Miami

We're the types of people who never get tired of using words like "jagged", "angular", "tight", "mathy", "buzzsaw", "energetic" or dozens of other adjectives that are readily available in describing bands that fit that particular Dischord-inspired post-punk music.  Also, referencing Q And Not U or Circus Lupus also makes us totally smile.  So, in hearing this band of kids from the San Francisco area called French Miami, we were seriously able to use all of them in one post.  Sweet!  It's excitable, dancey rock and it's intentions are made instantly: get your ass moving or else.  French Miami play Cake Shop here in NYC tonight.  Their self-titled debut is out November 18.
