Late Of The Pier, who've been so ramshackle, erratic and brilliant as to make NME (a trusted source?) say, "it’s time to hail the new age of anything-goes ridiculousness", are coming ashore this week (we know, it's CMJ, you get it) to play their first-ever NYC show. The Nottingham group will hit the stage of the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Wednesday night and they'll also share the stage at Irving Plaza on Friday for the Insider's Showcase (alongside Soulwax, Pete Tong, The Whip and others). Oh yeah, and their first LP Fantasy Black Channel will finally see release in the US in January.
