News: Buffetlibre announce "Rewind 2"

Oct 20, 08

The wildly inventive, ridiculously great (and free) compilation from the Spaniards in Buffetlibre, "Rewind", made huge waves because it culled together such an array of talent doing almost 100% perfect covers of 80s tunes is back.  The kids have just announce a few details about it and we have them to break.  Like, for instance, the covers will no longer be decade restrictive and instead the compilation will feature acts performing renditions of songs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.  Or that come January, you'll be able to hear all 120 tracks for free (again).

And just to get you raring up to hear the thing, feast those eyes on this list, which only has about half of the acts who'll be featured in the compilation: Au Revoir Simone, Bonde Do Role, 1990s, Headlights, Little Boots, Whitey, Starfucker, Sidechains, Delorean, Boy 8-Bit, The Shoes, Electric Youth, 80Kidz, The Requesters, The Young Punx, Malente, Grum, AC Slater, Sohodolls, Sportsday Megaphone, The Ruby Suns, Miami Horror, Revolte, Robbers On High Street, Mendetz, Facteur, Justin Faust, Russ Chimes, Aleks And The Drummer, CFCF, The Glass, Codebreaker, Mojib, DVAS, Project Jenny Project Jan, Love Motel, Pin Me Down, Minitel Rose, Heads We Dance, Little Pictures, Redial, We Have Band, Division Kent, Man Like Me, Cobra Dukes, Division Day, Grafton Primary, Tender Forever, Ultraviolet, Freezepop, Giko, Electric Valentine, Super Mal, LAZRtag.

Done and done.
