Oh those damned French electro-rock kids and their wildly banging tunes that are filled with repetition, clicks, clacks and coos. ART WHIPLASH looks almost as young as you'd expect someone who listens to his music would be. Which is a great thing. It shows that he has his lock on what the kids actually want to hear, which instantly makes a case for ART WHIPLASH's promise and (maybe) some sort of hope for tomorrow, you know? The music is a mortar-and-pestled dusting of blog house, relentless and wobbly, like that daze you can't remember being in but you totally know you experienced. And with a song title like "Party, Sex And Bullshit", it's no wonder it's a dizzying flow of treble, bass and drums.
