Lapse is nothing more than what Hipster Runoff would call an "altBro" from South Africa who likes to get behind the turntables and throw down bangers at parties.  The problem is, of course, that we'd write him off immediately just for that if his treatments--in this case of Bloc Party and Moulinex & Xinobi--weren't so screamingly good.  Their guaranteed to be clubby-as-fuck and remarkably, even though much of both of the tunes are lessons in repetition, it doesn't become the least bit grating.
