Tiombe Lockhart (PPP fame) along with Nick Hook and Todd Weinstock (of Men, Women, and Children) have joined forces into a Voltron-like organism they've dubbed Cubic Zirconia. The trio are playing their first NYC show ever at Webster Hall's The Studio space on January 21. Tickets are a whopping ten bucks and they're all on sale now. The music is a kind of skronky, all-over-the-map pop featuring Tiombe's yearning vocals slithering in and out, and with track titles like "Fuck Work" and "I Wanna Freebase You", it begs to be heard often. Which is exactly what we're doing today.
