News: Datarock are back + playing SXSW

Get those matching tracksuits out and put on your visor sunglasses because Norwegian dance-punk outfit Datarock are finally coming back with another record and some headlining gigs at this year's Austin spectacular spectacular, SXSW. What's changed you ask? Well according to the boys, the record (called RED) drew its origins from Fela Kuti, Afrika Bambaataa & Kraftwerk and during the recording sessions there was a rule in place that all of the equipment meant to go on the album had to be made before 1983. Hooked yet? You will be, as the band are headlining Emo's Annex Stage on March 19 and The Iheartcomix & Jelly NYC present The Texas Nightclub on March 21.
