Emerging: Little Big Adventure

Mar 16, 09

He hails from Sweden, he writes songs about hate and he uses keyboards to make melodramatic indie pop that's as pointed as it is poignant.  Combine those powers for a Captain Planet-like creature (emphasis on the power of "heart") called Little Big Adventure.  Just recently signed to Labrador, LBA's track "The Hateful Eye" is a great primer into the mind of songwriter Magnus Sätterström.  The tempo doesn't change, nor the emotion, and you get the sweet fragility of a first love, where you enjoy the pauses, but revel in the commotion of it all.
