With live performances from Young Lords and Young Love (they just wrapped up a month-long residency on Friday nights) in The Studio space and DJ sets from Miguel Migs (featuring Lisa Shaw on live vocals), Marques Wyatt and the lovely minimal-slinging femmes of Staccato upstairs on the main floor, the tables were stacked on Friday night for Girls & Boys. We were running around rampant trying to catch everything, missing out on Young Lords--we did say hey to them in the back rooms of The Studio though--and some of Marques's set, but we still had a ton of fun. Deep. Deep indeed.
