Live: VEGA plays free show this Sunday at Studio B

VEGA has been blowing the lids off the Internet lately, with a rad video for single "No Reasons", a newsbreak last month about getting booted from an opening slot by Crystal Castles for allegedly stealing an effects pedal (that was false, btw) and an EP called Well Known Pleasures which drops tomorrow, all leading up to a freebie party this Sunday night--remember, it's Memorial Day, which means no work/school/whatever on Monday--at Studio B, compliments of the best party-throwers this side of the East River, Famous Friends. To get in free, though, you seriously must RSVP. Also sharing the bill are residents VDRK and Bradley D (of Flashmen) and Hugo Van Dyck. VEGA creates some of the funkiest 80s riffs and tracks we've ever heard that's at once flashback-worthy and looking straight ahead.
