The beauty of good disco pop is that is shouldn't really have to parade itself around as anything other than a good time. MYNX, a dynamic duo boy/girl of chic-as-shit apparel and even more ravishing hooks, are marginally knowledgeable of this fact. And at a time when nothing's truly shocking anymore (we mean, would anyone bat an eyelash at their constructed image of 70s glam meets Larry Tee's electroclash...nope), if a group of synth and speak-sing kids could just focus on their craft, their presence and--here's the river--their tracks, we would have zero problems mentioning them as part of our heart of hearts. MYNX's debut EP, Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind, is on iTunes now.
