It was a weird night for sure at the Tribeca Grand. With a band playing that maybe/sort of shouldn't have gotten any sort of booking whatsoever (truth), Alex English still ailing from some podiatric misadventures and a crowd coming way late and not really sticking it out for the whole thing, we took shots of whatever we could and hung out with the kids and just sort of kicked back. Which was a more than welcome respite from our usual no-time-to-talk hurry-up penchant. Danzie and TKOmri held down the deejay duties for the night and absolutely killed it and the highlight of the night had to be our dear friend Joee Irwin who was wigging out, getting wild and inciting people to frown, smile and do trust falls.
