So there's sort of been a rather great, yet mildly incestuous amount of love going on between two of New York's most promising underground minds as of late. Mr Vega and Jemex, who've both been on our radar for a bit for making really rad experiments jump out of their respective labs (not to mention both making equally great remixes of the Flashmen jitterbug "Little Wildkat"), have found themselves marrying two times now. The first was Jemex (above left) taking on an edit of Mr Vega's "It's Coming" and now--today--brings the second: a remix of the Square 1 track "El Fin". We love love loved the original mix of this song from the original EP (with stellar vocal lines courtesy of Dean Gray) and the treatment that Mr Vega employs is slipping and sliding through five minutes of purely enjoyable electro R&B.
