The passion fruit of a weekend of labor for one of our favorite people to get emails from, MMMathias, finds the man working with his friend/compatriot dAi on "8th Wonder", a song off of the latest record from The Gossip, Music For Men. The 48-hour treatment puts the breaks on singer Beth Ditto's wailing and usual fits and spurts and instead filters her vocals through an extrusion of stutter-steps and leaves the real drama to the wiry, all-too-angled arrangements.
