The UK remixer called IDC makes the sort of unruly, dastardly tracks and treatments that are sort of your kid brother who you feel is annoying and not right in the head--a snot-nosed brat who doesn't care for what you think. These are the days of acid benders and irreparable troubles, but all good fun one hundred percent of the time. IDC's genius should be revered and his nearly-jumping-off-a-building attitude should be just as feared. It's raucous, uncompromising and totally batshit crazy. Not to mention some of the best stuff we've heard--ever. He's just done a treatment of the Lo Fidelity Allstars track "Your Midnight" (from the group's latest effort) that leans more towards a rave-up, pop orientation and not an illusory K-hole romp, but still maintains that bit of dark genius expected.
