News: Old Money release new digital single today

Jul 22, 09

A new digital 12" release from Scheme, Cambridge and Konrad aka Old Money just hit the imaginary shelves of Attorney Street today. "Where You Are" is a slippery, outer atmosphere, slathered in measured synth and drum clacks track with the routinely great rhymes that have made these guys an act to watch out for in whatever future tense we can discuss. The single comes backed with a remix version and a B-side, "Take My Hand" (which actually samples Bon Jovi's "Living On A Prayer"--in the best way possible). You can purchase the record via Paypal or through Attorney Street. The boys are also teasing the soon-to-be released debut EP, No.1 Champion Sound, but no other details on that one are on the way just yet. Old Money play Bowery Ballroom on August 6 with Das Racist and Gordon Voidwell.

Tracklist:

01 Where You Are
02 Where You Are (remix)
03 Take My Hand

(mp3)    Old Money - Dancehall Queen
