Last Friday's Girls & Boys party at Webster Hall had the special guest performer Curtis A. Jackson aka Green Velvet, a talent from Chicago's house heydays in the 90s as well as DJ sets from Sleepy & Boo, JDH and Dave P from FIXED and Alex English, Kids With Snakes and rekLES (all G&B residents). We didn't think Green Velvet was all too much to write home about (honestly, it translates so well on wax and yet not so much the same on stage), but a good time was still had. A sweaty sweaty sweaty good time. It was a packed house on all four floors and the temperatures soared. The A/C, however, did not.
