So, we got picked up at our apartment by Caroline aka Turkishomework, hopped on the F train that was fucked and then to the G train that was just slow, got in with zero problems, hung out and drank as much free Sprite as possible, got together with Antwan aka I Think You're Swell and Elaan, high-fived some more friends, acquaintances and photographers, stood in front of a dozen groups who had either blaring, popped out, nasty or puzzling music, shot over 1250 photographs, got sunburned like whoa and had a fucking blast. Thanks Magnum PR, Village Voice, the crazies and cheeseburgers of Coney Island and especially the bands, who--aside from a single hissy fit that we saw--were each stellar and kudos to Japandroids who remained wide-eyed, Future Of The Left who destroyed, Thee Oh Sees who had the best gyrations this side of The Nation Of Ulysses, Monotonix and their 1,000 new band members (the crowd that held them aloft throughout their set) and Bear Hands for their nonchalance. We're sore yet completely ecstatic with the time we had.
