We hadn't heard from one of our favorite talents from the land of Hollywood, Mr Gaspar, in quite a while, so when we received an email from the dude this week chatting us up about his style shifts and experimentation alongside two new tracks, we were giddy schoolchildren all of a sudden. Shouldn't come as any surprise really, as Gaspar owned our hearts last year with a handful of well-fitting remixes of some of our favorite pop gems. Today, though, with "Come Back" and "Sounds Of The Studio", Gaspar unleashes a housey attack of drums, high hat hits, clicks, synths, effects et al. and in the case of "Studio", a lifted sample from Hot Chip's last record. It's a new direction to take for the usually straight electro-leaning artist, but nonetheless not a bad choice.
