Live: Jemina Pearl in North America + album finally out soon

Since the break-up that made us cry, fiery-as-fuck Jemina Pearl has relocated to New York City, got signed to Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace label, played a few shows, shot a music video (today) and recorded an album. That album, set for release on October 6, is called Break It Up and it's filled with angsty, bratty, in-your-face-so-what rock 'n' roll that only someone as spry, confident and fierce as Pearl would do. Or, maybe someone like Iggy Pop would, too, which makes it no coincidence then that Pearl and Pop trade snarls on the album's first single "I Hate People". To complement the album's launch, Jemina sets out on a ton of dates around the country and beyond and later on in the year, she'll be opening up for Islands.
