It's worth noting that initially (and, sort of, still now really) we were abhorred by the idea of DEATH TO THE THRONE going near a treatment for a Daft Punk song. Any Daft Punk song, that is. It's blasphemy, sure, right? But with the impending doom that the score created by the pair of French disco aliens for "Tron Legacy" is going to create upon its release (the first new sign of life from them in a while and the first new ticket to ride for a ton of bedroom producers), we thought, well, why not let this one slide, considering that DTTT has done a pretty bang-up job of molding the original "Technologic" with a more '00s-inspired 8-bit progression, which has its way with the arrangement and takes to task the vision of "Tron" in 1982 and the vision of DEATH TO THE THRONE in 2009.
