It's been twenty-five years since Depeche Mode released their eleventh single, the marching "Master & Servant", but today brings new light to shine on the wonderful tune, as Nouvelle Vague jump back into the French pop/cover songs territory with 3, their new LP. To top off the rousing cover version with the whispy vocals of Melanie Pain, Nouvelle Vague's principal, the band is joined on vocal duties with Martin Gore, the Depeche Mode songwriter who penned the tune so many years ago. The cover version is fun, plucky and guilt-free, much like the catalog that Nouvelle Vague has put out thus far. 3 hits shelves in October and also features "Blister In The Sun", "Road To Nowhere", Gary Numan's "Metal", "God Save The Queen" and "Heaven" from the Psychedelic Furs, among others.
