For the second year in a row, Broke Ass Stuart came to Gotham City from San Francisco to instill in our rabid hearts the idea that you can still have a ton of fun with only a few pieces of silver with this, the "Fuck The Recession" party at Rebel last Thursday. Featuring DJ sets and a few bands we'd honestly never heard of (though this horns-and-funk group called Thought were amazing), cheap-as-shit drinks and various circus-like accoutrements, we had a rad time with Anthony from Tastes Like Caramel and the one and only Sheena Beaston (and promoter Kristina Marino) just hanging out, seeing bands and all that, er, jazz?
