Photos: CMJ 2009 with THE CULTURE OF ME and Sheena Beaston on October 22

So here it is, the wrap-up from Thursday, October 22, the day that we joined forces with the raddest bitch in the game, Sheena Beaston, and threw a CMJ showcase/party at Europa in Greenpoint. The show featured seven acts and four DJs (a few mishaps made the other two DJ slots not happen) and we couldn't honestly ever be more proud of all of the acts and artists involved, more thankful to each and every person who helped us make this happen, whether through never-ending support or sponsorship or just really positive vibes, more spent from the time, energy and stress involved in the whole thing, etc. etc. We're pretty sure that Sheena is still sweating from it all too. Thank you thank you thank you to Subdrive, Famous Friends, PBR, Europa and the bands who individually ripped up their sets and collectively were the best thing we've ever had our hands in collaborating with: Awesome New Republic, Flashmen, My Gold Mask, Tempo No Tempo, Telephoned, Menya and VOICEsVOICEs. We are profoundly thankful for everything that led up to Thursday's triumphant event and the amazing response since.
