We didn't go to the Major Lazer/Crookers et al. Hard NYC show at Terminal 5 last weekend, but from all of our friends' photo/video coverage, it totally looks like we may have made the wrong decision of skipping out on it. We can't relive the past though, but we are enjoying this quick four minute interview that one half of Major Lazer, Wes Pentz aka Diplo, gave to the guys from Ford models (no idea how that even makes sense really) where he talks about Mad Decent, Santigold, M.I.A, new records, the punk aesthetic, attitude and lineage of his music--we hear a lot more Kingston selectors and soundsytem battles more than anything else--and drops hints of TV shows, Adult Swim and tons more stuff to look forward to in 2010.
