In honor of the recent passing of Slum Village's MC Baatin (truly a great loss in the "summer of death 09"), Miami, FL-based artist Jack Splash just released this moving memory-filled, sway-inducing reverie. This is a big-up to one of Detroit's great hip hop luminaries and Jack Splash does his best in "Baatin (Missin U...)" to remind the listener, both in beat and rhyme, what a great loss it is for Baatin to no longer be around. Splash is making waves (sorry) lately with production credits and collaborations with tons of up-and-coming pop stars, so we're sure you'll be hearing a ton more about him in relation to top 40 musings in the near future.
