Live: Fixed turns 5 with Basement Jaxx this Saturday night
Nov 05, 09

Oh shit, we're sorry. Did we break your concentration right there? Were you swooning and frothing, all wide-eyed and "holy shit"-ting? Yeah, thought so. Don't worry, we're right there with you.
Fixed, the party helmed by big room tech DJs Dave P and JDH, is set to celebrate their half-decade existence this Saturday night at the one and only Santos Party House, with a line-up that you just have to hear/see/speak out loud to believe. With it's two levels of fun and darkness, headlining the night with a rare NYC DJ set is Basement Jaxx, who are riding undulating waves of good vibes from the September release of Scars, their latest house masterpiece album. They'll be joined by the residents. And downstairs is a full-on DFA disco assault with sets from Holy Ghost! and Matt Cash from the stable.
Honestly, we probably don't have to stress how amazing the night's going to be, but just in case, tickets are available at the door for $25. Totally worth it in spades in our books. Among the dozens of acts that Fixed has brought to the stages of NYC are Erol Alkan, Soulwax, Tiga, Alan Braxe, DJ Falcon, Fred Falke, Mr. Oizo, Booka Shade, Modeselektor, Justice, Digitalism, Klaxons, Peaches, LCD Soundsystem, Mylo and Vitalic.
