News: Shy Child bring forth "Criss Cross"; details about Liquid Love

It's been three years since the last recorded output from the duo Shy Child hit shelves, but 2010 seems poised to be a great 365 days for the guys as Gotham's own Pete Cafarella and Nate Smith take to the Wall of Sound imprint for Liquid Love, their fourth (!) studio album. With endlessly woozy melodies and hooky pop notions, Shy Child lead the assault with their single "Criss Cross", a really amazing teaser of a tune that's built on danceable tones and indie rock tendencies, yet refuses to be categorized easily, so we're not going to try it.
