News: Brian Wilson to perform with English National Ballet

Awesome!  One of the culture of me's favorite performers of all time (alive, that is), Mr. Brian Wilson, is set to perform "God Only Knows: with his band during a ballet performance and fundraiser at the InterContinental London hotel in Park Lane on November 11th.

That's all the news about it we could drum up.  Anyways, how cool is this going to be?  Someone better sneak a video cam under their black tie get-up.  Or else.

Tori Amos penning musical?

Okay.  So it's been a week since Tori, Pip, Santa--eeeeerrrgggh.  So frustrating to have to remember multiple personalities over and over again.  Anyways, a week after releasing what will undoubtedly be another hotly-discussed pop record, American Doll Posse, Tori Amos and her umpteen partners-in-crime who somehow seem to look very much like Tori herself, are now settling in to tackle an even more epic affair.  No.  Not another child.  I think.  A musical.  You did read the title of this post, did you not?

Um.  Quote the Yahoo:

"I think I am writing a musical. I'm gushing but I'm under lock and key," she explained. "I'm trying to be [Andrew] Lloyd Webber and [Tim] Rice. I'm trying to be both [of them]. I'm busy. This is such a big project--a double record, 23 songs and the extras."

Let's see how this all pans out.
